The Direct Primary Care (DPC) Model mimics old fashioned medicine by fostering a therapeutic relationship between a devoted physician and the patients they care for. DPC practices do not accept or bill insurance. Instead, families pay an affordable monthly membership fee for unlimited access to their pediatrician. Direct Primary Care utilizes the convenience of modern communication (text, email, phone call, video visits) as well as same or next day availability for office visits to allow access to your doctor whenever you need them. Without the demands of insurance requirements, you can avoid billing hassles, price confusion, long wait times, and stacks of forms to fill out at every visit. With longer visits focusing on true wellness, predictable costs, minimal wait times, and direct access to the doctor, DPC is changing the healthcare landscape.

At Prickly Pear Pediatrics, the relationship is between you and your physician. If you have a question or worry, you can text, email, or call Dr. Webb and you will get an answer from her directly. There is no waiting on hold or having your question pass through multiple staff members.
We offer same or next day sick visits, virtual visits when it makes sense, and checkups that are easy to schedule.
Dr. Webb has a smaller number of patients compared to a doctor in a typical insurance based pediatric clinic, which means that she has more time to spend with each family, more flexibility with scheduling, and knows each of her patients very well.
Dr. Webb is a board-certified pediatrician with a passion for delivering evidence based care and staying up to date with the latest research and guidelines in order to offer the best care for your child
Membership includes newborn and 2 week check ups in your home*. Sick visits may also be offered at home based on availability
*For patients in a 15 mile radius from the clinic
Low monthly cost covers check ups, vaccines*, unlimited sick visits with no copays. As your child get older, the monthly fee decreases. Since insurance does not dictate our relationship, you can stay with Prickly Pear Pediatrics even if you have a job or insurance coverage change *Vaccines billed to insurance through 3rd party vendor or offered at a cash pay rate for those who are not insured
